Indy Northside Irish Conversation Group

Are you interested in or can you speak the Irish language? We're looking for people with all levels of ability - or none! - to join our Indy Northside Irish conversation group.

We'll begin after Labor Day 2010, and meet the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 7-8:30p.m. at the Claddagh Irish Pub, 3835 E. 96th Street, Indianapolis, (317) 569-3663.

Our first meeting will be Thursday, Sept. 9, when we'll establish our goals for the group and see what resources we have to share among us. Bring any materials you have!

New Irish language study groups are forming. Individuals in Indianapolis, Muncie, and Columbus are interested in starting groups. April 16-18 at the Indiana Memorial Union & Participating Community Sites

Irish Language Immersion

Learn Irish-Gaelic from some of the best teachers in the Midwest. Irish language coursework and immersion begins on the evening of Friday April 16th and continues through the early afternoon of Sunday April 18th. Participate in workshops, cultural outings, and late night craic.

The following discounts are still available:

Muc Ghuine- for last year's participants
Cairde agus Teaghlach- for groups of 4-6 who sign up together, great for friends and family.

Register by St. Patrick's Day (March 17, 2010) to guarantee a spot in one of our 4 levels of language classes. You are welcome whether it's your first exposure to Irish-Gaelic, something you've been working at, or a language you speak fluently.
